Escondido Mexico Psilocybe cubensis spore prints represent an exceptional, rare Mexican landrace variety from the coastal region of Puerto Escondido in Oaxaca, southern Mexico. Buy Escondido Mexico Psilocybe cubensis spore prints online across Europe to study an ancient genetic stock renowned for producing large swarms of medium-to-large fruiting bodies with variable caramel-reddish to light-brown caps, slender stipes, and aggressive mycelial colonization rates.

Each spore print is taken in a sterile ISO-certified laboratory environment on sterile foil, sealed in a heavy-duty ziplock pouch, and sample-tested on agar to ensure 100% germination viability before release.

Technical Specifications and Microscopic Profile

Collected from mature, wild-origin Mexican specimens, Escondido spore prints display heavy spore density and deep dark purple-to-black pigmentation under microscopic magnification.

Substrate Adaptability and Colonization Vigor

Hailing from warm, humid pasturelands near the Oaxacan coast, Escondido genetics adapt rapidly to diverse organic substrates.

Oaxacan Coastal Landrace ──► High Substrate Versatility ──► Rapid Grain & Agar Colonization

Environment Parameter	Optimal Parameter Range	Microscopic & Storage Advantage
Colonization Temp	24°C – 27°C (75°F – 81°F)	Fast mycelial run across grain and agar media.
Print Substrate	Heavy-duty sterile aluminum foil	Non-stick surface for smooth scraping or swab collection.
Viability Testing	Pre-tested on agar & liquid culture	Guarantees germinating spore stock free of contams.
Refrigeration Storage	2°C – 8°C (35°F – 46°F)	Preserves viability and genetic stability for years when kept cold.

How to Prepare and Store Spore Prints for Long-Term Viability

To preserve maximum spore viability for research and microscopy study over extended periods, follow strict sterile protocols:

1.Prepare Sterile Environment:Sanitize working space thoroughly.

Clean your laminar flow hood or still air box (SAB) with 70% isopropyl alcohol before opening the sealed print.

2.Sample Spore Deposit:Collect spores for agar inoculation.

Using a flame-sterilized scalpel or sterile swab, gently scrape a minimal deposit of dark spores onto your target media.

3.Refrigerate for Preservation:Maintain 2°C – 8°C temperature window.

Reseal the print inside its zip pouch with a food-grade desiccant pack and store in dark refrigeration for multi-year stability.
